Northmead Assemblies of God, Zambia

We recently received an invitation to visit the Northmead Assemblies of God church in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia. This church is 3000 members strong and the theme for the weekend was tilted: “Authentic Fatherhood”

The weekend began the Friday morning with a gathering of different church leaders. In the evening we had a dinner for fathers and their sons in the Intercontinental Hotel. The Zambian President, Ruphia Banda and members of his cabinet were the guests of honour. Approximately 300 people attended this function. Alta and I sat at the main table, with the President. I was given the opportunity to share the Word of God regarding family values, after which the President and I discussed the topic further. The President has exteneded a personal invitation to me, to visit him when next I am in Zambia. The Minister if Minerals/Mining has asked me to remain in email contact with him.

On the Saturday, the message I had shared at the Dinner, was transmitted in part on national television. Four of the main Zambian newspapers ran the story, in which they also made mention of my message on family values.

We ministered throughout the weekend and were able to lay new foundations regarding the importance of the family, the relationship between Spiritual fathers and sons, the spirit of a son and how one can be healed of an orphan spirit.

We give God all the glory for such a successful weekend. All our teachings were recorded on video and are been trasmitted on national televsion through a Christian program which is viewed by 5 million people.
