Over 16000 new believers join the church in Africa every day! Each week, 40 new churches are planted. However, over 80% of Africa’s pastors have no formal training. Many of these untrained pastors do not have basic knowledge of the Bible. These pastors lack effective tools to address the expanding Islamic faith and issues of poverty, war and HIV/AIDS, which affect their families.
The On10 Advanced Leadership Training Program is at the heart of AFMIN’s vision to see a trained pastor in every church in Africa. Selected pastors are trained and equipped and in turn, they make a commitment to train at least 10 other untrained pastors, with the material provided. On-10 Schools are held twice a year, for a period of 10 days each. A basic, easily
understood curriculum is followed which consists of eight modules which take four years to complete. Upon completion of the ON10 Program, the leaders receive an advanced diploma in leadership training.We are excited about what the Lord is doing through the ON-10 Program. We have already seen the positive effects that this program is having on the church in Africa and receive encouraging feed-back from pastors at every school.
